Microtector G333 The smallest 4-gas detector |
The Microtector G333, with its weight of only 385g, measures up to 4 different
gases at a time. It needs only 3 keys for operation. An integrated data
logger stores peak and long-term values. The 3 alarm thresholds for every
sensor, calibration, zero point and special functions are adjustable by
means of the service menu. In case of a gas hazard the detector gives a
clearly recognizable audible and visible alarm. A huge LCD-display shows
the measurement value and has further features like zoom, contrast and illumination.
A rechargeable metal-hydride accumulator allows for operation of up to 16
hours.

For every gas three freely adjustable alarm thresholds, with which sudden gas hazards are recognizable, are available. Toxic gases are additionally monitored for their short-term exposure level and the time weighted average (STEL/TWA). Warnings are given by a loud audible signal tone. Further LEDs indicate the gas, which has caused the alarm. Moreover the display illumination automatically turns on. The proper functioning in the stand-by mode is indicated by means of short signals, whose intervals can be adjusted.
The huge display simultaneously shows all measurement values. Pressing a single key indicates additional information. Zoom function, illumination function and adjustable contrast are further characteristics. A menu driven service mode, which is protected by a codeword, adjusts alarm thresholds, calibration, zero point and special functions.
A special double-sensor reliably measures the toxic gases hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and carbon monoxide (CO). A pressure- and temperature compensated electrochemical sensor permanently monitors the oxygen concentration in ambient air for oxygen deficiency or surplus. For combustible gases and vapours of all kinds, a nearly poison resistant catalytic combustion sensor is available. This sensor also reacts on hydrogen, solvents and alcohols.
The antistatic casing with its small dimensions of 59 x 120 x 34mm is made out of a rugged carbonfiber reinforced polyamide. Highly integrated single-chip-microcontroller and miniature sensors are the prerequisites for the compact design of the new detector. As accessories you can get a charger, carrying case or bag and a calibration set.
